Sharing the love…

PWA (Toronto People With AIDS Foundation)

Participants who live in Toronto and beyond (except Québec and the Kingston area) raise funds for PWA.

PWA is the founding agency of the Bike Rally, and the largest practical service provider for people living with HIV/AIDS (PHAs) in Canada.

Founded in 1987, for and by people living with HIV, PWA offers a healing and welcoming space that provides direct, practical services, critical connection to medical services and meaningful engagement in the HIV community for all PHAs in Toronto.

Over three decades later, PWA serves over 2,200 people living with HIV each year, and, in partnership with other HIV organizations, are developing a PHA Hub for people living with HIV in Toronto. Together, we are the Family of HIV!

AIDS Community Care Montréal (ACCM)

Participants who live in the province of Québec will have the net proceeds of their fundraising go to ACCM.

ACCM is Quebec’s only English-language community organization that provides services for people living with HIV or Hep C. Their peer support, practical assistance, and treatment information programs aim to improve the quality of life of its members to encourage their personal development. ACCM’s volunteer-driven community engagement is the foundation of its efforts to prevent sexually-transmitted and blood-borne infections. The voices of their members are central to ACCM’s guidance as they work in collaboration with many communities to build a compassionate and caring response to HIV and hepatitis C.

Trellis HIV & Community Care

Participants who live in Kingston and surrounding area will have the net proceeds of their fundraising go to Trellis.

Since 1988, our organization has been addressing the Social Determinants of Health by providing practical supports, drop-in services, facilitating access to testing and primary health care for communities who are often marginalized and stigmatized. These include People Living with HIV, the 2SLGBTQ+ community, people experiencing poverty and homelessness and people who use substances. Providing support while confronting stigma is at the core of what we strive to do.

Based in Kingston Ontario, their catchment area is Belleville to the west, Brockville to the east, and Sharbot Lake to the north.
