Matching Gift Campaign

We’re excited to announce that, like last year, we’ve received an offer from a generous donor who has pledged $100,000 in a Matching Gift Program that will run from Sunday May 12th to Thursday June 15th. This Matching Gift program is designed to help you fundraise over the next four weeks by encouraging your donors to give now and see their impact doubled!

Does the matching gift count towards my personal fundraising?

In order to respect the wishes of the anonymous donor and to ensure riders raise their own minimum, amounts matched to your fundraising will not show on your personal page. The main purpose of a matching gift campaign is to motivate your donors – people love doubling their impact! We promise that the campaign will generate more donations for you, even without the matching amounts. As an added bonus, we’ll be running the Matching Gift Contest (see below) to give a chance to top up your personal fundraising amount.

What is the Matching Gift Contest and how do I participate?

For every $200 you raise during the Matching Gift Campaign (May 12th-June 15th) you will receive one entry into a draw to win One of eight (8) $250 weekly prizes. These funds will be added to your personal fundraising page and can contribute towards reaching your minimum, 4K Club ($4,000) or Top Fundraiser ($6,000) status. All registered participants are eligible for the contest, and Bike Rally staff will track your fundraising progress for the draw. The only thing you need to do is fundraise!

Do all three agencies benefit from the matching gift campaign?

Yes! Whether you’re raising money for PWA, Trellis or ACCM, the dollars matched to your fundraising will go towards your beneficiary organization.
